About

Eva Wong Nava is a Singapore-born author whose writing explores identity, cultural heritage, and belonging through stories that blend history, folklore, and magic. With degrees in English Literature and Art History, she writes across genres, including young adult historical fiction and children’s picture books. Her work reflects a commitment to representing underrepresented voices, particularly those from East and Southeast Asian communities, and to bringing diverse cultural experiences into children’s literature. Her middle-grade novel received a Moonbeam Children’s Book Award in 2018, and The House of Little Sisters won first prize in the Historical Fiction category and was longlisted for the McKitterick Prize. She lives in London, where she continues to write and mentor aspiring picture-book creators.
