Abigail Avis

About

Abigail Avis is a London-based novelist and writing tutor who is particularly interested in the women of the Swinging Sixties and those who challenged traditional domestic expectations. She also writes under the name Abigail Mann and has worked as a writer and tutor, helping students develop their creative and academic writing. Avis studied English literature and became a Fellow of the Royal Literary Fund, a role that supported her development as a novelist. Wet Ink is her debut book-club novel, inspired in part by her interest in motherhood, female creativity, and the often-overlooked revolutions women make in everyday life. The novel attracted international publishing interest before its release and is being developed for television.
