Patricia Glinton-Meicholas was a Bahamian writer, cultural historian, educator, and critic who devoted much of her work to documenting and preserving Bahamian culture and oral traditions. She was born on Cat Island and became one of the prominent chroniclers of Bahamian literature, folklore, language, and history.
